“God must’ve loved me so much, He joked a lot with me. Every time I tell stories of my mishap and misfortunes, people laughed.”

Would You Say "Thank You"?
And while sitting here staring at nothingness, would you want to say "Thank You" for all the pain?

trust in you
(previously published somewhere in the internet on 24-09-2008)
Here is to another frustration-heavy holiday season!
As always been in these previous four years, again and again it felt like Matthews is taking most of the crap a company can produce and empeloyees threw at.
Why in Hell it seemed that everytime a vacation time loom, people tend to dismiss responsibilities altogether? It was just, “Hey, tomorrow is holiday. Screw this assignment!” and just drop everything and start sitting around just talking and laughing and be merry?
No, I overexaggerated it.
But as some collagues are tune in into holiday, all the assignment are being dumped on me.
I mean, as soon as people saw a slack (or rescheduled) deadline, they stop working because, “It’s not even due soon, anyway.” Or, “We’ll work it out after vacation.” Which in reality some of it’d probably went my way to make things work; made some finesse changes and alteration; and took larger responsibilities.
I had to leave my own work to supervise some R&D work and now it’s clear to me that even when I went away for the same holiday season, it’d be guilt-ridden because all the unfinished tasks just playing shadows in the back corners of my mind.
Even when I worked overtime, those tasks still refuse to see an end. I had to review and re-review it again with my boss because the volume are all translated into money. And in business, money is crucial. Hey, my position is crucial for the company but the position came with the burden of taking responsibilities about the progress and continuation of almost all our operation in Indonesia.
That’s sucks.
But I guess that’s just me. A semi-antisocial guy with a twisted sense of humor.

Day 360-1: When Was That?
When was that actually, the last time I spent time with my whole family on a Christmas eve -- or make itu Christmas Day?
Try as hard as I could, I could remember any precise moment or year right now, that I was among my sisters, brother, and parents.
Today, another Christmas, is another event that I am not among my family. In this shopping mall, among this crowd, I am alone.
Now wouldn't that make me look weird? Of all the tables here none of them were occupied by a single person, except mine. I must be looking weird, writing this post.
Ah, I just try not to care.

At least I know there is God that's always with me and LC who'll be thinking of me if she's not sleeping. Ah, the sleeping beauty.
