Musical Fireworks

There was this Musical Fireworks Show at Summarecon Gading Serpong, which I was very intent on getting some fireworks photos!

It turned out all my fireworks photos are crap-tastic!

Maybe because I was torn between shooting Dewi Dewi and the fireworks display. Guess which one won? Ha ha...



The advertising blimp, remote-controlled, hover above us visitors and spectators.

Preparation AND Foresight

As you can see, the difference between being great and just an average is: preparation.

Although it seemed very simple, the result from the how good you prepared for anything that might come up along the way -- and the foresight to predict them thus taken adequate precaution -- differed the outcome as great or plain.

As this one time I deliberately bring my 18-55mm lens only but stumble upon a chance to capture Rossa sing on stage.

Now, since there were a lot of people in front of the stage actually trying to take her picture using camera phone, I was stuck behind the throng. Since I didn't desire to push them (mostly women), I just have to make do from where I stand.

Using my DSLR, I take a couple of pictures that just suck. Wish I had my 70-200mm instead. And I even forgot to change the metering from Matrix- to Spot-Metering! Hence the picture showed Rossa with overexposure on her skin.

Aaarrgghh....

I just suck!

My preparation inadequate and my skill is just novice!
