It's Now Day -22

Today I learn that you can only trust one that much. Being "that" is loosely based on the character of the person whom you gave it to.

But then again, I really hope people can expand their own abilities and upgrading themselves -- which is an egoist notion actually. By being more qualified means that I can delegate more and more work to others.

But then again, doing things would only make me better and better at those things. This is not dillematic because it's simple, really. Do more, practice more, became an expert.

I remember that I haven't finished making padding for my sidebag so I can fit my flash unit and my camera in a bag safely. Safe here means that it has adequate protection against banging them to other things and the bag doesn't look like a camera bag which might fool people who would've thinking of robbing me out of my gears. That way, I can travel feeling more secure.

Where's My...

New Nikon D90 with the appropriate lens Nikkor AF 80-200mm f/2.8 D !?!?!?!

How long should I wait for a new SLR body?

And a new lens?

Actually, all I have to do is visit a camera store -- either in Kemang, Pasar Baru, Bendungan Hilir, or Gunung Sahari -- to obtain that lens.

But I prefer to wait before buying a new lens.

I want a new body!!!

Oh My God! Photography Is Just A Trend!

You know what?

Once again I found that the saying that "It's Not The Camera That Make One A Photographer" is true. It's TRUE, allright!

I saw it in a community photography site, a guy named HP, armed with a Nikon D3 (!), produced a photo that I knew by heart that I could get the same result with a moderate point and shoot digital compact camera.

And that HP guy even commented that he like the skin tone of his model, THAT HE GOT BECAUSE HE IS USING A CARL-ZEISS LENS.

CMIIW, you got different color tone because of the type of sensor used in the DSLR and the method used to record the image. Not because you are using a particular lens.

And to think that this guy use a professional full-frame DLSR (that cost a fortune!), just make me sad (and envious at the same time).

I wish that this HP guy got real friends with photography sense and an honest open-relationship to tell him that that picture suck and he need to learn a lot.
