So The Boss made another new set of rules and regulation about incentives, bonus, and targets. The more one finished the job, the bigger the bonus, with larger pay grade with more and more sites being done.
The Site Supervisor, the Project Admins, the Logistic and Procurement officers are all involved in this new bonus scheme. The aim is to motivate employees to do more work at the same month.
The Boss said that whoever underperformed by only finished one sites per month for three consecutive months will be asked to leave the company.
Like hell you would, that's what I thought.
You see, if there's ever one Site Supervisor ever finished only one site of many that he/she got, for one or two months, guess who'll be blamed?
Me.
If the Project Admin can't keep up with the load of work given to them, who'll be blamed? Right. Me again.
This blame part not even happened yet but believe me, it will!
As a matter of fact, for months now (if not years), I'd be getting the blame for anyone's mistakes. It always seems that The Boss just wouldn't care about anything -- or pretend not to hear -- wherever this stupid ugly devious guy that is his relative made mistakes, no sanction were handed out. But not other employee, mind you. So what we might have here is some discrimination but no one would admit the fact with different reason not to.
The more I opened my eyes to my surrounding, the more I realized that I might have been wasting five years of my life. Now that thought is really depressing.
